Collaboration for a world-class World Championship
The partnership between the key stakeholders of the 2027 World Orienteering Championships in Veszprém has become official. The Municipality of Veszprém, the University of Pannonia, the Hungarian Orienteering Federation, and Veszprémi Honvéd SE have signed a joint agreement to ensure a successful event.
The signatories have committed to combining their knowledge and resources to work on the preparation and promotion of WOC 2027. The aim of the cooperation is not only for Veszprém and its region to host the world’s elite but also to provide an unforgettable experience for both competitors and fans by combining urban infrastructure, the university background, and professional expertise.
