Official kick-off: Joint work has begun
A press conference was held at the House of Hungarian Sports regarding upcoming international orienteering events in Hungary. As a highlight of the event, Henrik Eliasson, CEO of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF), personally congratulated Balázs Kovács, President of MTFSZ, and Attila Varsányi, representative of the host club Veszprémi Honvéd SE, on winning the hosting rights for the 2027 World Orienteering Championships.
This gesture officially marks the beginning of the intensive professional preparations, aimed at delivering a world-class championship of unprecedented quality in Veszprém.
